the fat bitch and the chief I just made a phone call and found out that pūkana also known as “the fat bitch”, died two days ago.. so many people loved her! Koro only had to come out with her to busk and by seeing her, people would instantly throw money.. she was funny & cute, would have her grumpy moments like an old granny would..

I still have some unpublished pictures of my stay in Aotearoa and fortunately these were included. “Pukana Me Te Ariki”.

It’s a shame I wasn’t there to support the tangi, but in this way I’m still paying respect ki te whanau.. Pūkana, The streets of Welly will miss you..
